Teniu una botiga física a on poder veure els vostres productes?

Yes, we have opened our studio to the public, because we know that there is nothing like being able to see and feel the fabrics and the different products you buy.

Also, we love being able to meet and talk to the people who come into la blu and give them advice whenever we can!

We are located in the district of Gràcia in Barcelona, at Carrer Sant Cristòfol 15, next to the Llibertat Market.

Què és un fat quarter?

A fat quarter (FQ) is a term commonly used in patchwork to refer to pieces of fabric measuring approximately 45 x 55 cm.

The fats quarters of la blu are grouped in panels of 9 pieces of coordinated patterns, the 9 patterns that make up each collection. Hence the name of the product “All in One” (the whole collection of prints in one panel).

The use of fat quarters is very diverse: you can cut them to make strips or smaller pieces to work on a quilt or use them directly by combining them to make small or big projects.

Què és un bundle?

A bundle is a term that is commonly used in patchwork and refers to a pack of fat quarters from selected fabrics to create a harmony of colours.

The bundles of la blu are a taste of the 9 patterns of each collection in the format panel of fat quarters. For each collection of prints there is a bundle.

Haig de rentar la tela abans de fer-la servir?

It is not necessary to wash the fabrics before use, but if you wish to do so, please follow the recommendations on the “Our fabrics” page or on each product page.

Quan encaro les peces dels panells no sempre coincideixen. Perquè passa?

In some cases, when you cut the pieces of a panel and face them for sewing, they may not perfectly fit together. This is due to possible uneven tension of the fabrics during the printing process. But don’t worry, because all the panels and their pieces are designed with a tolerance to ensure that the final sewn product always looks good. You can use the iron to help shape the piece before sewing, if you like.

Els colors de les imatges són precisos?

All the images on the website have been made with the aim of reflecting as much as possible the real colour of each print, but even so we cannot guarantee it, as the colours look different on different screens.

Yes, we have a newsletter. You can subscribe here. We send 2 newsletters a month, one with the news of the blu and the other with a tutorial.

Com faig una comanda?

To place an order you have to choose the items you want in units and in the case of fabric by the metre, you must also choose the width of the fabric (140 cm or 280 cm) and the length you want. Click the “Add to basket” button for each item.

Once you have chosen all the items you want, click on the basket at the top right of the page and you will see all the items you have selected. Check that everything is correct, number of units and width and length of the fabrics. Enter the promotional coupon code, if you have one, to apply the discount.

If everything is correct, click on “Go to checkout” to complete the purchase. A page will appear asking you where you want your order to be delivered. It is very important that you indicate the detailed address (house and flat number!) and a mobile phone number where you can be contacted in case the courier cannot reach you.

If you would like to receive an invoice for your order, you can enter your billing details.

You can also send us a message by filling in the form if you have any comments about your order or if you have any special requirements.

Choose your payment method and click on “Place order” to complete your purchase.

Once the process is complete, we will start preparing everything so that you receive your order as soon as possible!

Necessito estar registrat/da amb un compte per fer una comanda?

No. You can place an order without being registered with an account, but we recommend that you create an account because it allows you to keep track of all your orders, as well as the possibility to check the status of an order. And more advantages which are coming soon… 😊

Quins tipus de pagament accepteu?

We accept Visa, Mastercard and also bank transfer. In the latter case, the order will be dispatched once we have been able to validate the payment into the bank account.

Què puc fer si el meu pagament es rebutja?

We don’t want this to happen! We recommend that you make the following checks to make sure everything is OK:

  1. 1. Confirm the card number, expiration date and security number.
  2. 2. Make sure that the card is valid, that it has not expired.
  3. 3. It could be that your card issuer has declined payment. We do not receive any communications about this. In this case, we recommend that you contact your bank to help you solve the problem.

Les ofertes s’acumulen?

No, promotions are not cumulative. If you have more than one promotional code in use, choose the one you prefer to use.

Quant tarda en arribar una comanda?

Orders are usually dispatched by midday after they have been placed (working days), except if they are placed before 10am, which we make our best effort to dispatch the same day.

Once they have left la blu, they usually take up to 24 / 48 hours to arrive at their destination (for international orders, please allow 72 hours for delivery). You choose the courier service you want to deliver your order at the time of payment.

Quins dies envieu?

Our online shop at is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and orders are prepared from Monday to Friday, except on public holidays. We usually take days off throughout the year, for Christmas, Easter and Summer, which we announce in advance so that you can plan your orders accordingly.

Quines tarifes d’enviament apliqueu?

At the time of payment you choose the courier service and, therefore, the service fee.


We hope you enjoy everything you have purchased but, should you need to return an item, la blu offers you the possibility to return non-personalised items (fat quarters All in One panels and products from the Cut & Sew range) within 14 days of delivery.

In the case of the fabric by the metre, as all fabrics are cut to order, and are therefore personalised, we do not offer refunds except if the products are defective or damaged.

Instagram sales are final.

At la blu we inspect all items carefully before shipping. In the unlikely event that you return a defective or damaged product, or if you have changed your mind about non-personalised products, please contact us by e-mail at ( within 24 hours of receiving the order explaining the reason for the return, a picture of the product with the defect and send your purchase to our studio at Sant Cristòfol 15, 08012 Barcelona, within 14 days with your order number and the tracking number of the shipment. The product must be sent in its original packaging.

We recommend that you send returns by certified mail so that you have proof of shipment. We will refund the shipping costs if the product is defective or damaged. In any other case, the return shipping costs are to be paid by the customer.

Què es considera un producte defectuós o danyat?

We may exceptionally receive fabrics from the printer with small defects that we may have missed when preparing the orders. Defects can be small discolourations, printing errors or, in the worst case, a small hole in the fabric. If you believe you have received a product with a defect, please follow the instructions in the “returns” section.

Feu prevenda? Quina és la vostra política de prevenda?

la blu may offer pre-sales for items that we believe may be in high demand or for items that are available in small batches. These items are labelled as “pre-sale” on each product page.

When you place a pre-sale order it means that you are placing an order for a fabric or product by paying in advance, before it reaches us from the printer. The product will reach you 24 / 48 hours (allow 72 hours for international shipment) after it reaches us and we can prepare your order. The estimated receiving date will be clearly indicated on each pre-sale product. If for any reason beyond our control there is an incident, we will contact you so that you are aware of the situation and we will look for the best solution together.

All pre-sales are final sales. Pre-sales cannot be cancelled or modified.

If you have placed a multiple order of products already available and pre-sale products, you have the option to receive the complete order once all items are available. In this case, please indicate so in a message on the checkout page.
